Mrs Lucy Burns appointed as Principal at NHS

We're thrilled to announce the permanent appointment of Mrs Lucy Burns as the new Principal at Narromine High School. 

Since joining our school community in 2019, Mrs Burns has held key roles as Head Teacher Welfare and Deputy Principal, and she has been relieving as Principal since January 2024. Her dedication to our students and commitment to excellence in education have made her an invaluable part of our school.

One of Mrs  Burns' significant contributions includes the creation of our widely recognised Wellbeing Hub, which supports our students' mental and physical health and fosters a positive learning environment. As a former student of Narromine High School, she deeply understands our school’s culture and is excited to work alongside students, parents, staff, and the broader community.

With her innovative approach and passion for public education, Mrs Burns is ready to lead us into a bright future!
